An exhibition project by Werner Nekes in collaboration with the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.

3 April – 16 May 1993

Twenty-two artists associated with the Academy of Media Arts Cologne were included in this exhibition, which explored the use of light and shadow.

Works included projections, holograms, film and installation.

A catalogue containing 22 art postcards representing the work of each exhibiting artist was produced in connection with the exhibition.

Based on David Bohm’s interest in holography and his proposal that the universe is a hologram, in which what we see is really holographic.
