Using liquid as a drawing medium, the shadows of the resulting marks fall across a flat circle in the centre of the work and within the holographic volume.


When displayed, the circular surface and surrounding or overlapping marks appear in front of the picture plane, in the space between the observer and the holographic plate.


The marks also appear on the surface of the picture plane and shift, kinetically, as an observer moves past the piece.
