Selected for Nottingham Castle Open

Each year, Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery holds its Open exhibition and invites artists in the East Midlands to submit work for inclusion.

This year, the selection panel comprised Amy Botfield (Arts Council England), Maeve Rendle (artist), and Alan Kane (artist).

From over 400 submissions, they selected 37 artists who represent the wide range of creative practice taking place in the region.

The exhibition is open from 22 October 2016 – 8 January 2017, with a special reception taking place on 18 November.

Work by Andrew Pepper has been selected for inclusion in this year’s Nottingham Castle Open exhibition.

A site-specific projected (drawn) ‘intervention’ onto one of the long gallery’s Victorian radiators will be included.
