Light Lines
4 – 27 June 1982
On conclusion of his two-year Fulbright Scholarship as resident researcher at the Museum of Holography, Pepper was invited to present a number of light installations in his first New York solo exhibition.
Four pieces were installed in the lower gallery, including a new site-specific work made specifically for this exhibition.
Random Cube Rotation 1980
Slide projectors, with carefully engineered 35mm slides of lines and dots, were installed to project across the gallery space. Multiple static and rotating screens intercepted these lines to produce kinetic drawings in space.
