Detail of Lamp Three showing one of the left and right circular holographic elements, displaying undulating marks and shadows captured during the recording process, produced by light passing through liquid applied to the glass recording plate.
A spotlight in front of each left and right circle illuminates the hologram, mounted behind a hole cut into the rusted metal surface.
The central hole is blocked by a metal surface, behind which is an illuminated electric light bulb.
Electric cables hang from beneath the left and right holograms and terminate (unconnected) at the gallery floor.
