Holography and Installation

Lamp One

The work is made from a single folded metal sheet, forming an A4-sized rectangular surface mounted proud of the gallery wall.

A small circular hologram, displaying the shadow made by water during the recording process, is mounted behind a circular hole in the upper centre of the metal.

Mounted behind the hologram is an electric light bulb (switched on), which is only visible when the piece is viewed from the side.
