Works for Shelves: A System of Support
June 1987
Curated by Sharon Kivland, the exhibition invited 57 artists to submit work which could be displayed on shelves in the entrance gallery.
Andrew Pepper produced a free-standing glass holographic plate highlighting the unseen ‘support’ usually placed at the back of a photographic frame, used to keep the frame upright.
