Aura Kinetica

Curated by August Muth Auta Kinetica brings together artists from Canada, Italy, the UK and the USA who use light and holography within their practice.
Included in this survey show is Centre Column – Blue, a new work made especially for this exhibition in collaboration with August Muth at The Light Foundry, Santa Fe.
Located in El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe, and part of the city-wide Currents New Media Arts Festival, the exhibition establishes creative holography as an integral and critical process within the media arts, and highlights the diversity of work that surrounds it within the wider festival.
Some of the artists in this exhibition have been working with light and optics for over 40 years, while several others are emerging practitioners within this medium, or have backgrounds in more traditional art forms and are beginning to explore the holographic process.
Artists exhibiting: Fred Unterseher, Dora Tass, Andrew Pepper, Mary Harman, C. Alex Clark, Michael Crawford, Rebecca Deem, and August Muth.
