A developmental installation of two glass holographic plates hung on fine filament, just proud of the gallery wall, one slightly overlapping the other.
The central circle in each plate moved microscopically (in different amounts) during the holographic recording process, causing dark areas (non-recording).
The surface texture is the shadow of liquid brushed onto the glass plate while the hologram was being exposed, and it exists in front of the picture plane.
A viewer looks through these shadows to the circular structure behind.
