A 1.5-metre diameter smoked glass circle is mounted just above the surface of the gallery floor. Placed in a circular cluster on top of the glass surface are fragments of glass holograms, intentionally broken into smaller pieces.
Smaller fragments are located towards the periphery of the circle and on the gallery floor.

Glass disc edge, projected drawing on its surface and hologram fragments.
Fragments of broken reflection holograms, each containing the shadows of fine fibres which appear above the surface of each piece.
As an observer moves around the circle, these marks shift across the surface of each fragment, producing an animated, kinetic effect. The luminous drawing used to illuminate the piece remains stable across the surface of the circle.
