Early experimental studio developments explored the location of points of light in space.\u2028<\/p>\n
Thin fabric screens, hung in the studio, display small blocks of light from a projected 35mm photographic slide.\u2028<\/p>\n
As the studio was a completely windowless black space (walls and ceiling), light from the slide projector was not noticeable on the black walls but, as it was intercepted by the thin hanging screens, appeared to \u2018place\u2019 blocks of light in the centre of the space.<\/p>\n
