Documents Alternatives #3<\/strong><\/p>\n 20 April – 1 May 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n This is the third iteration of the Documents Alternatives<\/strong> exhibition, which has previously been shown at Airspace Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent (#1), and Verge Gallery, Sydney (#2).\u2028<\/p>\n The exhibition is hosted by the Art Research Centre, Bath School of Art and Design, BSAD Gallery<\/strong>, and is connected to the accompanying symposium, which focuses on artistic process and practice.<\/p>\n Symposium<\/strong> Friday 20 April 2018<\/span><\/p>\n Exhibition<\/strong> 20 April – 1 May 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n In each exhibition participating artists are invited to adapt and develop their work – reconfiguring the document they presented previously.<\/span><\/p>\n theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n Three-Nine 35mm Drawn<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Three of the 35mm slides, previously part of a projected installation at various galleries, are backlit by a phosphorescent panel.<\/p>\n The slides emit light, rather than their normal function of interrupting light in a projector. \u2028A hand-drawn pencil line extends the luminous line within the slides and connects with the additional 35mm slide.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image
